What is Meditation?

So many people talk about meditation and how important it is in helping people maintain a happy and healthy existence. Even the US Marine Corps, which is home to the toughest warriors in the world, began a pilot meditation program in 2013. Medical studies have also shown that meditation is an incredibly effective method to increase learning ability and relieve stress. Stress, as many of us know, leads to many ailments. These include sleeplessness, depression, chest pain, and a rise in blood pressure on the physical side; forgetfulness, inability to focus and changes in appetite on the emotional side. Entering the Hypocrite Free Zone…

“You are the most negative person I know.” This was what one of the most important people in my life said to me this morning. I was a bit shocked. After all, I never seen myself this way, but as I have reflected on this so casually strewn statement I seen more. Reflected illumination. Over the years I have become a true believer in the law of attraction and I had thought that I was living my life in a manner that supported this. Not true. Does this mean that I am a hypocrite? Maybe, but how can I turn this around? Thinking SpiteHot SpiteHot is the epitome of self-confidence, self-assurance and self-esteem.
